It was so great to see all your faces and home yoga sanctuaries (including the kids, cats and dogs!) through our online Zoom classes but it was even nicer to feel your energy in the studio when we re-opened our doors.

Are you one of the familiar faces we’ve welcomed back to the studio?

Or have you been avoiding the mat?

Maybe you’re struggling with motivation to get back into a routine?

Or it’s been so long that you’ve forgotten how good it feels to move your body?!

This is your opportunity to find your groove and get back into the swing of things. We’re taking a short break for school holidays, and we’ll be returning to our oceanside retreat when term two classes kick off on Monday 20 July.

Why Yoga? Why Now?

Restrictions may be easing, but the coronavirus pandemic has changed our lifestyles, and the anxiety and stress that comes through such a significant shift can manifest into physical symptoms like increased blood pressure, tensed muscles and a lack of concentration. During this period of unrest and unease, yoga is a simple way to calm your mind and re-centre your thoughts.

The movement of yoga helps reduce tension in muscles and joints, and this can help relax the sympathetic system. This profound and powerful practice is also a gentle way to reintroduce movement into your life and ease yourself back into a routine. We promise it won’t take long to remember why you love yoga so much!

So, make yourself a green tea and let’s toast to the start of a brand-new term.

Here’s what you can expect from us:

Flowing Vinyasa

Flowing Vinyasa is a graceful opportunity to move through each yoga moment and learn how to centre your body. This class is suitable for anyone looking to take their practice to the next level.

Back Special and Meditation

Are you suffering from a niggly back or tight shoulders from your time in isolation? Back Special and Meditation is an incredibly effective way to regain pain-free movement and improve your flexibility.

Slow Yoga Flow

Rediscover your love of yoga through an unhurried and considered Slow Yoga Flow that emphasises alignment, breath and mindfulness. Whether you’re a beginner or a dedicated yogi, this practice will teach you patience and growth.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a beautiful way to dip your toes back into the studio. Hold poses longer, allow body tissues to open and you will reap the rewards.

As always, you can book in through our online booking system here.

Important things to know!

Our classes are small enough to accommodate physical distancing rules, and this size provides an excellent opportunity for our teachers to give you the one-on-one attention your body deserves. Our studio has been cleaned and sanitised ahead of your return. Please only come into the studio if you are feeling well, and contact our team if you show any symptoms of being unwell in the 14-days following your class. We encourage you to get in touch if you have any further questions about our COVID-19 precautionary measures.

Thank you again for your patience as we navigate our way through these new changes and restrictions. We can’t wait to see you on the mat again soon!
