At Pottsville yoga studio the teachers kerri and Angela are passionate about their yoga, asana, breath and meditation. Angela has a university degree in Human Movement and Exercise Science as well as Yoga Australia level 2 yoga teacher certifications. Pottsville beach yoga studio is boutique style within a garden setting with no more than 10 per class. Angela and Kerri devote time and attention to each students individual needs.

At 5, I started my yoga journey as I tagged along with my mum to her yoga classes, (The seed having been planted grew slowly into a tree). At twenty I started doing Iyenga classes in Amsterdam. From there via India, Nepal, Sri-Lanka and the Maldives to Byron bay I practiced and learnt. In Byron Bay I practised yoga daily with Flo Flenton and attended Southern Cross university to study Exercise Science and Human movement. After graduating I attended many yoga courses and workshops. Level 1 & 2 with Purna Byron yoga center, Rainbow kids yoga in Byron and Shiva Rea Vinyasa flow yoga in Colorado USA. Every term I go to yoga work-shops with advanced yoga teacher trainers to stay motivated and fresh eg Flow Fenton and John Ogilvie. I specialised myself as a Yoga exercise physiologist with Simon Borg- Olivier and Bianca Matchlis and became a Level 2 Yoga Australia Teacher in 2016. attended numerous intensive 5 day workshops with Donna Farhi. Recently July 2019 I became a Yin Yoga teacher With Yoga International.
Today I teach classes at my studio in Pottsville beach. With my husband we look after our 2 high school age children and our dog Maggie. Always attend as many workshops and yoga courses as is practical to keep growing, learning, moving and specialising. Everyday immersing myself deeper and deeper into the practice of yoga.
Angela Van der Valk
Kerri is a level 1 Hatha Yoga teacher who consults with clients doing Reiki and works as a therapeutic massage practitioner.
Kerri teaches Slow Yoga Flow on Tuesdays at 9 am from 24 th of March onwards. Balancing, relaxation, reiki plus head/shoulder massage.
Friday morning at 9 am kerri teaches a Flowing Vinyasa class.
